Strokes · 汉字
All 36 basic strokes, drawn exactly as they render in Writing Practice — each one is a real stroke isolated from an actual character, not a stand-in symbol.
- 01Top to bottom.
- 02Left to right.
- 03Horizontal strokes before vertical strokes that cross them.
- 04Left-falling (撇) before right-falling (捺) strokes.
- 05Outside strokes before inside — a frame is drawn before what's inside it.
- 06Inside before closing — fill a frame's contents before the stroke that seals it shut.
- 07Center strokes before symmetrical left/right strokes.
- 08A horizontal stroke that spans the whole character is drawn last.
